These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of zambiasuppliers.com (the "Platform"), operated by BIT Zambia ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

1. About the Platform

ZambiaSuppliers is a B2B marketplace that connects buyers with suppliers in Zambia. We provide the platform and technology — we are not a party to any transaction between buyers and suppliers. We do not manufacture, sell, or distribute any products or services listed on the Platform.

2. User Accounts

Registration: You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

Eligibility: The Platform is intended for businesses and individuals aged 18 and above operating in or trading with Zambia.

Account Types: Buyers can browse, search, and submit enquiries and buying requests. Suppliers can create business listings, add products and services, and respond to buyer requests.

3. Supplier Listings

Suppliers are solely responsible for the accuracy of their business information, product descriptions, pricing, and images. By listing on ZambiaSuppliers, you represent that:

• Your business is registered and operates legally in Zambia
• The information you provide is truthful and not misleading
• You have the right to sell the products and services you list
• Your pricing information is accurate at the time of listing

We reserve the right to remove any listing that violates these Terms, is fraudulent, misleading, or inappropriate.

4. Buyer Requests (RFQs)

Buyers may post buying requests describing their procurement needs. Suppliers may respond with quotes. ZambiaSuppliers facilitates this connection but is not responsible for the quality, pricing, or delivery of goods or services agreed upon between buyers and suppliers.

5. Transactions Between Users

All transactions between buyers and suppliers are conducted directly between those parties. ZambiaSuppliers is not involved in negotiations, payments, delivery, or dispute resolution between users. We strongly recommend that users:

• Verify the identity and credentials of the other party before transacting
• Use written agreements or purchase orders for significant transactions
• Inspect goods upon delivery before making final payment
• Report any fraudulent activity to us and to the Zambia Police Service

6. Subscription Plans & Payments

The Platform offers free and paid subscription plans for suppliers. Paid plans provide additional features such as more listings, featured placement, and tender access. Subscription fees are billed monthly or annually as selected. Payments are processed by our third-party payment providers.

Refunds are available within 7 days of payment if the service has not been substantially used. After 7 days, refunds are at our discretion.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Provide false or misleading business information
• Use the Platform for any illegal activity
• Harvest or scrape email addresses, phone numbers, or other user data
• Send unsolicited commercial messages (spam) to other users
• Interfere with the Platform's operation or security
• Create multiple accounts for the same business to circumvent plan limits
• List counterfeit, stolen, or prohibited goods

8. Intellectual Property

The ZambiaSuppliers name, logo, and platform design are the property of BIT Zambia. Users retain ownership of their business information, product images, and descriptions, but grant us a non-exclusive licence to display this content on the Platform.

9. Limitation of Liability

ZambiaSuppliers is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:

• The accuracy of supplier listings or product information
• The quality of goods or services obtained through the Platform
• Any loss arising from transactions between users
• Temporary unavailability of the Platform due to maintenance or technical issues

Our total liability for any claim arising from use of the Platform is limited to the amount you paid us in subscription fees in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

You may close your account at any time through your account dashboard or by emailing us. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your listings will be removed and your personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Zambia. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Zambia.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify registered users of significant changes by email.
